Welcome! You have just taken the first step towards helping us plan for the future of our region. We, at the NJTPA, are preparing an update of our long-range transportation plan, the 2035 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). As required by federal law, we update the RTP every four years to ensure the plan continues to reflect the changing transportation challenges and conditions of our region. When it is officially adopted in mid-2009, this Plan will lay out a vision for northern New Jersey and guide regional transportation investment decisions.
